How to make a Christmas tree from Christmas balls?

    A tree made of New Year's balls under the ceiling. Prepare the required number of identical small green balls. Attach clear fishing line to each ball. You fix each ball at a certain height on a special blank.

    You will get such a wonderful flying spruce from New Year's balls.

  • Christmas tree made from Christmas balls - step-by-step master class

    Necessary materials:

    • New Year's balls of different colors and sizes;
    • foam cone;
    • glue Moment;
    • white orgaza (1 meter);
    • snowflake or star on top of head;
    • scissors;
    • wooden skewer.

    Manufacturing:

  • New Year's balls can be used to make beautiful decorations for a holiday or a composition in the form of a Christmas tree.

    To do this, Christmas balls are attached to a base, be it a wire frame or a foam base made from a cone

    Christmas balls are fixed to the base to make a Christmas tree craft using hot glue

    First you need to make and select a base, and then fix the balls

    From New Year's balls you can quickly and beautifully make original Christmas trees for decoration for the holiday.

    In addition to the balls themselves, you can combine and make a Christmas tree with balls and other decorations

    Christmas tree made of balls for the New Year - quick, simple, beautiful, stylish and not difficult to make with your own hands

    Or you can also use one plane format

    You can take an aluminum frame (or rather make one) and attach balls to the wire. Or glue the balls to each other, and place cardboard, polystyrene foam and any other inexpensive material at the base of the tree.

    Or there is another cool option - hang Christmas tree balls from the ceiling so that they line up like a Christmas tree:

    You can make such a cute compact tray from Christmas balls using a steel rod with a stand, you can take it from an existing prefabricated artificial tray.

    The balls will be attached to wire rings of different diameters; it is necessary to prepare such rings so that they can be secured to the bushings.

    In this matter, the most important thing is to figure out what size our Christmas tree made of Christmas balls should be. First, we need to take tools and materials such as material for the base of the cone (foam, cardboard, polyurethane foam, etc.), a glue gun and Christmas balls, beads and other decorations of your choice.

    Now we prepare our balls and hang from bottom to top using this technology

    You can also see a short course in this video

    If ordinary pines and spruce trees for the New Year's celebration seem too ordinary and boring to you, then a Christmas tree made of shiny Christmas balls will certainly appeal to you.

    Moreover, such a Christmas tree will be relevant for many years, and it will not require much expense for its creation.

    First of all, we purchase Christmas tree balls for work (preferably plastic), in four different sizes. Color to suit your taste. It took 20 balls to create this Christmas tree.

    Then let's take care of the base of our Christmas tree. Metal coils will do.

    We will also prepare a knitting needle, about 14 cm long, a beautiful ribbon for decoration and a shiny star for the top.

    Now carefully study the photo instructions.

    We cover the metal coil for the base with a beautiful tape.

    We fix the knitting needle - the base in the spool using polystyrene foam.

    Then we string the balls in layers: from largest to smallest.

    Decorate the top with a star.

    Simple, fast and cool!

    A bow of New Year's balls can be made in different ways.

    I would like to present to your attention several ways to make Christmas trees from Christmas balls with your own hands.

    Method 1. To make a Christmas tree I will need: a base in the shape of a cone, which can be made from cardboard, thick paper, tinsel, unbreakable Christmas balls, various decorations (tinsel, beads, serpentine), glue, scissors, top.

    We take the cone, put it on the table, I remove the tips from the New Year's balls, smear the tip of the toy with glue and glue it at the bottom in a circle of the cone, gluing it to the very top. I decorate the top of the tree with the crown, and decorate it beautifully with tinsel or other decorations near the balls.

    To make the tray more fluffy, you can glue other balls to the balls using glue.

    Method 2. For the second method, I needed a stand for the base (it could be a metal coil), a bow base (I took a long pencil, or a knitting needle), New Year's toys, and a top.

    I insert the pencil into the spool, if the spool is very large, then I wrapped the bottom of the pencil with ribbon and secured it with tape, the trunk of the future Christmas tree can be painted or wrapped in tinsel, I string New Year’s toys onto the pencil one by one, or screw them with wire, and I insert the top of the pencil onto the top of the pencil.

    The tree can be beautifully decorated with tinsel.

And now, finally, the New Year has come to us! We are all in a hurry to decorate the New Year's beauty - the Christmas tree. And every year we buy a lot of Christmas tree decorations, and especially balls.

But Christmas balls can be used to make a wonderful gift for friends and relatives. And while we’re at it, let’s hurry up and make tabletop Christmas trees out of balls with our own hands or decorate a room.

As always, I found several options for decorating not only a tabletop Christmas tree, but also compositions on the wall (window, door).

TREE ON A ROD.

You can make this tabletop Christmas tree with your child.

To do this you will need:

  • stable round base (reel of tape, adhesive tape or plaster base);
  • rod (I take a long skewer);
  • polystyrene foam (to strengthen the rod);
  • wrapping paper or card;
  • Christmas balls of different sizes (preferably several colors, but in tone);
  • small star;
  • stationery knife or scissors.

Let's make the base. We wrap the coil or any other base with beautiful paper.

We insert the rod into the middle and fix it firmly.

Prepare the balls. We arrange them according to size. Now we string the balls onto the rod through the loop. Just use large balls first, and the smallest ones at the top.

We attach the star to the peak of the rod and that’s it, our gift is ready!

TREE ON A CONE.

I think another simple option for a Christmas tree made of balls is on a cone.

At its base there is cardboard rolled into a cone.

The balls will need to be prepared first. Remove all the loops from them. Apply glue in its place (I use a glue gun, but superglue will also work).

We begin to paste large toys over the bottom of the cone, then gradually reduce their size.

The design of the Christmas tree, as well as the color, may vary. You can paste in rows or in a spiral.

I give these Christmas trees to my guests along with. And at the entrance to the room with the festive table, each guest chooses his own “destiny”, in the form of a small box

FLAT TREE.

This method is perfect for decorating a room. I do it on the wall and in the kitchen on the doors.

Although, this can also be a gift in the form of a painting! I decorated my friend’s room like this, only I made the Christmas tree in a frame.

Then, using masking tape, I mark a triangle for the Christmas tree. I attach the balls with needles to the wallpaper or with narrow (double-sided) tape to the painted surface.

I start assembling our unique Christmas tree from the top. You can also use a garland, but even without it, the decoration looks bright. When all the balloons are hung, don't forget to remove the masking tape.

Such a Christmas tree can be used not only in the room, but also for.

AERIAL TREE.

But we especially like the Christmas tree, as I call it - “airy”.

But you will have to tinker with it a little. But then, it will be a reusable Christmas tree. I store it in a box without taking it apart.

The principle of this decoration is that the balls hang in the air on a fishing line in the shape of a cone.

For such a Christmas tree you will need a metal circle. In the upper part of the circle we fix four chains (of the same length), connect them together - this is how we make a hook to which we will hook the Christmas tree.

Also prepare:

  • fishing line;
  • pliers;
  • hooks (but I just tie the line to the base or toy);
  • Christmas balls of different sizes (the number depends on the size of the tree).

Next, we carry out calculations. All toys will cling in a circle. On the outside there are large toys on the longest line. Then, approaching the center, we reduce the length of the fishing line and the diameter of the balls.

As a result, you get a Christmas tree that seems to be floating in the air, but at the same time - voluminous!

From personal experience, I want to advise you: do not hang such a tree in the middle of the room. It's beautiful, but guests will have to walk around it all the time to avoid getting tangled in the toys.

The ideal place for such decoration is near a window or wall. I hang it on a chandelier near the wall, which is aimed at the photo wallpaper. If you use glossy balls, the light from the chandelier illuminates them beautifully.

I hope my experience will help you make original gifts and delight all your guests with the New Year's mood!

Happy Holidays!

You will need: a round mesh (this can be a grill mesh, a steamer, a fan mesh, etc.) in this case it is a grill mesh, diameter 45 cm; chain, 150 cm; small carabiner; 100 hooks (for attaching threads to the structure); 100 hooks (the picture shows hooks). By the way, paper clips are quite suitable for hooks; 1 spool (15m) of jewelry cable, you can use fishing line; 200 stoppers (for making loops on a cable); pliers; 100 balls (or any other products) to create a hanging structure. So we have a grill grate. We remove the legs, since they are easy to remove, leaving one lattice circle. Now we cut chains (or you can use cords) of the same size and attach them with hooks to our lattice. And from above we connect the chains using a carabiner. We cut the wire (or fishing line) and make loops on each side (we will attach one side to the structure, our ball will hang on the other). We mark our design into circles (In this case, 6 circles) Since our balls are 6-9 cm in diameter, we make the distance between the circles 4.5 cm. We cut, fasten, sequentially, starting from the center and inner circles, ending with the outer circle according to scheme. We hang the structure from the ceiling and enjoy.

You can create an incredibly beautiful floating New Year tree with your own hands from ordinary Christmas tree balls, which are mainly used to decorate the forest beauty.

Materials and tools:

1. Christmas balls. The number of balls is determined based on the size of the tree you are going to create. The diameter of the balls also depends on the expected dimensions of the tree. From small balls you can make a compact Christmas tree that can be placed on a table, and from large balls it is best to create large Christmas trees. It is best to use balls without metal caps, i.e. with fastening in the form of loops.
2. Fishing line. The diameter of the fishing line depends on the mass of the balls used.
3. Scissors.
4. Pliers or round nose pliers.
5. A decorative chain that can withstand the weight of the Christmas tree being created.
6. Metal grill, which can be purchased at a hardware store.
6. Carbine for hanging our Christmas tree.

Step 1. We make four equal sections from a decorative chain and, using pliers or round nose pliers, create a suspension that will hold the lattice on the hook.

Step 2. We create markings in accordance with which the tiers of our Christmas tree will be hung. The outer diameter of the largest circle of the marking must correspond to the outer radius of the metal grating.

Step 3. Measuring the required length of fishing line, we begin to hang the Christmas tree balls. Hanging is done from the top of our tree. When moving to the next circle of our marking, we consistently increase the length of the fishing line. To begin this procedure, you need to hang the grille using a carabiner on a temporary hook. The work ahead will be painstaking, but interesting.

Balloons can be used not only green, but also silver or transparent. It all depends on your imagination.

The last step is to choose a place where you can hang the Floating Christmas Tree.

Today we will make an amazing Christmas tree: it floats in the air and looks extremely stylish and unusual.

This is a great option for decorating an office or apartment in a high-tech style.

Such a Christmas tree will fit into an ordinary home, giving the interior a modern and, at the same time, fairy-tale look.

You will need:

1. Round grid stand with a diameter of 42.5 cm (you can buy it at a restaurant equipment and supplies store).

2. Light chain, designed for hanging lamps and other decorative purposes - 152.4 cm.

3. Small carabiner.

4. 100 hooks.

5. 1 skein of monofilament thread for jewelry (not stretchy) - 15 m.

6. 200 jewelry crimp beads.

7. Crimper for crimping.

8. 100 straps with hooks.

9. 100 Christmas balls.

10. Needle nose pliers.

Progress:

1. Prepare the base: take a grid stand.

Turn it over and remove the legs.

Now, using needle-nose pliers, we attach the chains to the protrusions from the legs.

We connect the chains and hang them from the carabiner.

2. Now let’s calculate the length of the threads for hanging the balls.

In the master class, balls with a diameter of 5 cm and 7.5 cm were used. The distance between such balls should be about 3.75 cm.

To accurately calculate the number of long, medium and short threads, you can use the following diagram:

Number of decorations/balls (in circles): 1, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27

The length of the thread in the center is 13.75 cm.

Circle 1: 18.1 cm, one - 22.5, two - 26.88 cm, three - 31.25;

Circle 2: two - 35.6 cm, two - 40 cm, three - 44.38 cm, four - 48.75 cm;

Circle 3: three - 53.1 cm, three - 57.5 cm, four 61.88 cm, five - 66.25 cm;

Circle 4: four - 70.63 cm, four - 75 cm, five - 79.38 cm, six - 83.75 cm;

Circle 5: five - 88.13 cm, five - 92.5 cm, six - 96.88 cm, seven - 101.25 cm;

Circle 6: six - 105.63 cm, six - 110 cm, seven - 114.38 cm, eight - 118.75 cm.

The design should resemble a tall, narrow wedding cake (multi-tiered).

3. Place the hooks at the required distance from each other.

4. Now we cut pieces of monofilament to the required length, make loops and secure them with crimp beads.

Note: Keep pieces of monofilament separate from each other to prevent them from getting tangled. Finished sections with fastenings can be hung on a cornice by attaching a ball to the lower end of the section.

5. Hang the balls (starting from the central ones).

There you go!

By the way, you can use not only green balls, but also transparent ones.

Or any other Christmas tree decorations. This tree looks original and beautiful!

And it’s easy to disassemble and hide until next New Year. It will not take up much space, and next year you can easily assemble it again.
