Proper hair care with natural oils! Grandma's secrets!

Our hair is no less our decoration than our skin, eyes, lips. Hair attracts with its shine, its softness, and aroma. The swing and soft wave of shining hair fascinates with its beauty...

But, unfortunately, not everything is so rosy and our hair is constantly exposed to a variety of negative influences: heat, cold, dryness, humidity, styling, wind, stress, and so on. As a result, our hair becomes dry, brittle, dull, and dandruff appears.

Don't forget that there are all kinds of natural hair care oils that simply cannot be substituted for hair care.

Vegetable oils for hair

They soften the scalp, penetrate the hair shaft, and are beneficial for both the hair structure and the scalp. It is much better to use unrefined vegetable oils, since their properties deteriorate significantly during processing.

Normal hair:

For dry, damaged, colored hair: jojoba oil, macadamia oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil, burdock oil.

For oily hair: almond oil, grape seed oil.

To strengthen hair: jojoba oil, macadamia oil, grape seed oil, burdock oil, olive oil, wheat germ oil.

Anti-dandruff: jojoba oil, castor oil, burdock oil or grape seed oil.

1. Olive oil for hair

Unrefined olive oil should be used to treat hair. It will help with dull, dry, brittle hair, split ends, hair loss and protect your hair from harmful effects by covering it with a thin film.

Application:

The easiest way to use it is to add olive oil directly to your shampoo. But it can also be used as a hair mask.

Recipes:

Against dullness of hair (for shine). Beat 1 egg yolk, 2 tbsp. spoons of lemon juice, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of olive oil and 6 liters of beer. Wash your hair with this mixture.

Against brittleness and dry hair. Prepare a mixture of 70 g butter, 150 g rum and 5 g lavender essence. Massage this mixture into your scalp and leave it overnight, and rinse with warm water in the morning.

Against split ends of hair. Heat, without bringing to a boil, a mixture of 2 tbsp. spoons of olive oil, 1 tbsp. spoons of vinegar and one egg. Apply this mixture to the ends of your hair and rinse off after 30 minutes.

Olive oil as a hair conditioning mask. Mix 1/2 cup honey and 1/4 cup warm olive oil (if you have oily or normal hair, it's best to limit it to two tablespoons of oil). Apply quickly, put on a shower cap or wrap your head in a towel and leave the compress on for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with shampoo and rinse.

If you don’t have honey, you can make a mask from olive oil alone. It helps well against brittle ends, dry hair, dry dandruff, and with constant use, it helps restore follicles.

2. Burdock oil for hair

Effects of burdock oil on the scalp: soothes, relieves itching and irritation, improves blood circulation, eliminates dandruff and flaking (also used for seborrhea), nourishes, and restores the scalp. It also restores hair structure, restores shine and elasticity, accelerates hair growth and reduces hair loss. Don't forget that normal hair loss is up to 100 pieces per day. In addition, burdock oil normalizes the functioning of the sebaceous glands. If you have a dry scalp, then after regular use of burdock oil, the lipid balance will normalize.

You can make burdock oil yourself. To do this, pour 100 g of crushed (fresh) burdock roots with a glass of vegetable oil (preferably olive oil, sunflower oil is also possible). Leave for 24 hours, then simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, cool, strain, and pour into a glass container.

Application:

Burdock oil is used as a mask, either alone or in combination with other components (oils, honey, egg yolk). For preventive purposes, it is enough to use burdock oil once a week. For more serious problems (baldness, dandruff), masks can be done two to three times a week; after 10 to 15 procedures, you can take a break for two weeks and then continue the course.

Recipes:

As a hair mask. Heat the oil in a water bath to body temperature. Rub the oil into your scalp with your fingertips while massaging your scalp. After applying the oil, your head should be wrapped in a plastic cap or bag, and on top with a warm towel. Leave for 20-60 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Those with dry hair should add burdock oil to shampoo. Add a few drops of burdock oil to the amount of shampoo you usually use.

To restore and strengthen hair: mix 2 tbsp. kefir, 3 tbsp. burdock oil, 2 tbsp. peach oil, 3 drops lavender essential oil, 2 drops ylang-ylang essential oil (or 2 drops cedar essential oil). Apply the clean mixture to your scalp and hair, insulate your head with polyethylene and a towel. Wash off the mask after 30 minutes. Make masks from burdock oil twice a week for a month, then take a week break and repeat the course if necessary.

3. Almond oil for hair

The word almond comes from the Latin word Amygdalus - the name of the Phoenician goddess of beauty Amygdala, who was famous for her beautiful complexion. This is an excellent makeup remover, as it not only cleanses well, but also nourishes the eyelashes, making them fluffier and longer. Almond oil is rich in useful substances: vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, F and E, protein and glucose.
Almond oil is one of the most powerful natural stimulators of hair growth and strengthening. Video: choosing hair oil

Oil is a valuable hair find that helps solve various hair problems. The choice of product depends on what effect you want to achieve - restorative, weight-bearing, growth acceleration.
In the first video, a professional trichologist will talk about hair oils, in the second you can learn how to use them correctly.

To keep your hair healthy and attractive, in addition to regular care, you need to use natural hair oils. They prevent hair loss, strengthen hair follicles, saturate them with vitamins and valuable substances, increasing their elasticity and firmness, giving a natural glow. In addition, oils can accelerate hair growth and get rid of dandruff.

Benefits of hair oil.
Natural vegetable oils can be called the most valuable find for hair. Due to their diverse composition, they exhibit strengthening, moisturizing, smoothing, restoring, and nourishing abilities. Their regular use gives elasticity to the strands, makes them more manageable, improves their appearance, and also restores and preserves their natural shine. When applied to the hair, the oil creates a kind of film that retains moisture deep in the hair shaft and protects against protein destruction, which occurs against the background of frequent thermal exposure (blow-drying, straightening, curling, etc.). Natural oils are also useful to use after coloring your hair; they will make the color brighter and more saturated, and prevent drying.

Hair oil, methods of use.
There are several ways to use the oil. The easiest way is to distribute hair oil through damp strands immediately after washing. This procedure will not only make combing easier, but will also act as thermal protection. To moisturize the strands and give a natural shine, apply the oil immediately after styling. It is also recommended to apply hair oil to the strands as a protective agent before going to the beach or pool. There is one nuance here: first you need to hold the oil a little on your palms, rub it between them, warming it, and then you can apply it to your hair. It is very good to add oils to ready-made skincare cosmetics, this increases their effectiveness several times. To restore damage, oil is rubbed into the roots and applied to the strands, paying special attention to the ends. The oil is preheated and applied warm. Carry out the procedure at night, wrap it with cotton cloth on top so as not to stain the bed linen. In the morning you need to wash your hair with shampoo. In the latter case, the oil can be combined with various essential oils, the choice of which is made taking into account the problem being solved and the expected effect.

At the same time, the film protects the strands from the adverse effects of negative external factors. Coconut oil is perfectly absorbed, penetrating deeply into the tissue, moisturizing thinning, dry hair with signs of split ends.
