Most modifications are installed automatically using the manager. In other cases, each mod has installation instructions.
- Download and install the latest version Nexus Mod Manager .
- Launch NMM, it will scan for games and, based on the results, select The Witcher 3 from the list.
- Follow the mod link, select the one you need and click the button Mod Manager Download.
- The program will download and install the mod itself (you must log in to your account the first time you start it).

The chest with your items can be found at several points on the map, but the creators of this mod asked themselves: “Why not add more chests?” After installing the mod, 8 new points with chests will appear in the game, and 2 standard ones will be moved to more convenient places. This is very convenient, especially if you have a mod for general realism installed, which takes into account the weight of the coins that Geralt keeps with him.
One of the best things about The Witcher is that every major contract requires a lot of preparation in the beginning. We create anti-ghost oil, stock up on moon dust, meditate and, of course, sharpen a silver sword.
In this fashion, meditation becomes a more meaningful process. From now on, you won’t have to worry about captured weapons, which can be useful in very rare cases, taking up too much space in your inventory. Just take it with you and don’t bother yourself with such trifles.
The game could be called Wild Hunt, but hunting creatures and monsters is not the best way to make a living. If you're tired of killing a bunch of deer and only getting a little meat, then this mod increases the chance that the animals will leave behind a supply of meat or some ingredients.

Geralt can get it through merchants or make it himself. New blueprints in stores will allow you to get even more weapons, and don’t forget about upgrading relics.

Just recently we wrote about this mod: it is a complete rethinking of The Witcher's combat system. The main innovation is the removal of auto-aim. Now Geralt no longer jumps from one enemy to another like a pinball, but only hits where you direct him. This means that you can prepare a strike and suddenly go behind the enemy's back or break through his shield.
This is a major change, but it's not the only one in TW3EE. New animations, new ways of parrying, as well as new types of preparing strikes at a distance have also been added here. Each attack can affect your hero - there is a chance that Geralt will emerge from the next brawl with a broken arm or leg. These effects directly affect the leveling, alchemy system and equipment of the hero.
If you've already played through New Game+ a few times and seen everything The Witcher 3 has to offer, then this enhanced version is the perfect excuse to pick up the game again. It is recommended to install the mod on a “clean” version of the game, after which you can safely install additional modifications.
Ghost Mode is no less ambitious than the Enhanced Edition, but the changes are more subtle. He does not abandon the fundamentals of the original, but only polishes all the little things that required edits. For example, expensive plates can no longer be found on the poor man's shelves, all ingredients have weight (but you need fewer ingredients for alchemy), and simple equipment has become more powerful and useful. Typos in item descriptions have also been corrected, enemies have received new armor bonuses and stamina limits, etc.
If you think The Witcher 3 needs a complete systems overhaul, then the Enhanced Edition is waiting for you. If you think that the game just needs to be polished and balanced (which is what modders have been doing for two years), then feel free to install Ghost Mode.
And, of course, install the mod on the “clean” version of the game, and only after that add other mods to your taste.
