I will say that no matter what the film was, my opinion about this man has not changed one iota... The film, so to speak, revived the image that is dear to the heart... Therefore, the acting, the director's tricks, the talent of the make-up artists and etc. I will not evaluate the people who worked on the film... I am grateful to Nikita Vladimirovich Vysotsky, who allowed me to touch that side of V.S.’s life that was purely personal, helped many people see V.S. not a rowdy, not a drunkard and anti-Soviet, but a Man, a Poet, Sincere, Kind, Loving, Honest... and the film coped with this, in my opinion... I, as a viewer, a connoisseur of Vysotsky’s work, don’t need more... I felt the spirit, strength and power of someone who lived purely, honestly, without fear for his own skin, going to the end, I saw a person who valued human relationships, friendship above all else... who loved people!
